The Safety Database Specialist at Medpace will play a critical role in managing the Argus Safety Database to ensure accurate data tracking and compliance with regulatory standards. This is a full-time role based in Navi Mumbai, ideal for professionals with 1–2 years of relevant experience in the pharmacovigilance or clinical data domain. Key Responsibilities
- Configure system settings for products, studies, and licenses in Oracle Argus and Argus J safety databases.
- Support the generation of outputs for DSUR, PSUR, PBRER, and other periodic safety reports.
- Assist in developing and maintaining SQL queries and reporting templates using OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition).
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new updates or configurations in the safety database system.
- Deliver Argus training sessions for new team members and end-users.
- Troubleshoot safety database issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Support audits and inspections with necessary documentation and compliance evidence.
- Participate in the creation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a degree in:
- Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Pharm.D)
- Life Sciences (B.Sc / M.Sc)
- Business Informatics or related fields
Experience
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience working with Argus safety databases or similar pharmacovigilance systems.

- Hands-on experience with Argus and Argus J.
