Job Description: Argus/IVP Tester – Pharmacovigilance
IQVIA is seeking an experienced Argus/IVP Tester to join its Pharmacovigilance team in Bangalore. This role is suited for professionals with a background in Oracle Argus Safety, data validation, and pharmacovigilance systems testing.

Key Responsibilities
1. Test Planning & Test Design
- Develop detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts for Oracle Argus and IVP systems.
- Prepare Validation Test Protocols (VTPL) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documents.

2. Test Execution & Defect Tracking
- Conduct thorough functional, interface, and data migration testing between Argus and IVP.
- Verify data accuracy, field mappings, and transformation logic.
- Document and report defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Maintain traceability matrices and ensure full coverage of testing requirements.
3. Regulatory Documentation & Compliance
- Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Test Execution Reports.
- Ensure systems and validation documentation are compliant with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and ICH guidelines.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing validation evidence and system documentation.
4. System Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Work with developers and IT teams to implement and test updates or patches in the Argus or IVP systems.
- Support configuration management and change control processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency, automation potential, or system performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or related fields.
- 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Argus Safety testing and IVP validation.
- Experience in testing safety data migration and interface integration.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, especially GxP and FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA, TestRail).
- Understanding of pharmacovigilance workflows and case processing systems.
- Familiarity with SQL queries for backend data validation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across global teams.
- Detail-oriented approach to documentation and validation.
