Job Role Overview
The DGM/AGM – Technical Services (API) will be responsible for leading and executing core technical activities, ensuring the seamless transition of processes from R&D to commercial manufacturing, while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities
1. Technology Transfer & Scale-Up
- Lead the technology transfer of API processes from development to plant scale.
- Manage pilot plant operations and conduct scale-up batches.
- Coordinate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production for smooth tech transfer.
2. Process Design & Engineering
- Develop and validate engineering documentation, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, and batch manufacturing records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process development, troubleshooting, and yield improvement.
3. Kilo Lab & Hazard Analysis
- Oversee Kilo Lab operations, ensuring processes are scaled under controlled and compliant environments.
- Conduct Hazard and Operability Studies (Hazop) to assess process risks and define controls.
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all activities are conducted in line with regulatory guidelines, GMP standards, and internal SOPs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare technical reports for audits and inspections.
5. Team Management & Training
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff.
- Organize training programs to upskill team members on new technologies and safety protocols.
