Job Title: Officer / Executive – QC or QA (Environmental Monitoring)

Job Description
Selected candidates will be responsible for overseeing and executing environmental monitoring activities in classified cleanroom areas of the injectable plant. The role includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP protocols, and internal SOPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine environmental monitoring of sterile areas, including microbial sampling using settle plates, swabs, and active air samplers.
- Monitor and record particulate matter counts using validated instruments.
- Perform microbial identification, trend analysis, and data logging in compliance with industry standards.
- Support investigation and root cause analysis of EM deviations and contribute to CAPA implementation.
- Maintain accurate documentation and logs in line with GMP and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with production and QA teams during audits, validations, and contamination control measures.
- Ensure readiness for regulatory inspections including USFDA, EU-GMP, and WHO audits.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc in Microbiology (compulsory)
Experience:
- 2 to 7 years of relevant work experience in:
- Injectable or sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Environmental Monitoring in cleanroom areas
- GMP-compliant facilities
Preferred Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of aseptic techniques, gowning procedures, and microbial contamination control.
- Proficiency in the use of EM instruments such as particle counters, air samplers, and microbial incubation systems.
- Familiarity with documentation practices, microbiological testing, and data interpretation.
- Understanding of regulatory guidelines including USFDA, EU-GMP, and ICH.
