Key Responsibilities of the Role
As an Approved Microbiologist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the microbiological quality, safety, and compliance of sterile products in line with global regulatory expectations. Below are the main tasks associated with this role: Venus Remedies Hiring for Approved Microbiologist
- Sterility Testing: Perform and review sterility tests in aseptic conditions, ensuring all standards are followed.
- Bacterial Endotoxin Testing (BET) and Microbial Limit Testing (MLT): Oversee routine BET and MLT procedures.
- Environmental Monitoring (EM): Manage cleanroom environmental monitoring, air and surface sampling, and trending reports.
- Approved Signatory Duties: Serve as the regulatory approved signatory microbiologist for test reports, certificates of analysis, and compliance documentation.
- SOPs & Protocols: Review and approve standard operating procedures, microbiological protocols, and laboratory manuals.
- Regulatory Audit Handling: Represent the microbiology department during inspections and audits from regulatory bodies such as USFDA, EU-GMP, and WHO.
- Aseptic Process Validation: Lead Media Fill (Process Simulation) Validations, water system qualifications, and control of aseptic practices.
- Instrument Handling: Supervise the operation and calibration of key instruments like Sterility Isolators, Autoclaves, LAFs, and Incubators.
- Investigation & CAPA: Handle OOS (Out of Specification) results, deviations, and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Team Training: Train junior microbiologists and QA staff on GLP, cGMP, microbiological methods, and safety protocols.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Approved Microbiologist position at Venus Remedies, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Microbiology (Compulsory – no other disciplines will be considered)
- Work Experience:
- 8–13 years of hands-on experience in sterile/injectable pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably in regulated markets

- Strong command over sterility assurance, environmental monitoring, and microbial contamination control
